Class/Workshop Policies

In order to ensure each student receives ample attention, class/workshop numbers are limited to a maximum of 7 per class unless otherwise noted. To make the most of the time we have, please arrive promptly and be prepared for the class/workshop you have registered for. We cram a lot into a small space of time and want to make the most of it.

Course and Workshop Cancellation Policy

All courses/workshops purchased are subject to The Sewing Clinic’s cancellation policy. Please read this before booking. By registering and paying for a course you accept the terms and conditions outlined in the cancellation policy.

Spaces in the courses/workshops are limited, therefore in order to reserve your space, full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another day.

Students who withdraw from a course/workshop with more than 72 hours’ notice will be issued an 80% refund or studio creditThe Sewing Clinic reserves the right to not issue a refund. Students who withdraw with less than 72 hours’ notice forfeit their course/workshop fee. Students who don’t show up forfeit their course/workshop fee.

COVID policy update – We will not be offering credits or refunds if New Zealand enters level 3 or level 4. 

What happens when The Sewing Clinic teachers are sick/unable to attend class:

You’ll be notified by text to let you know that class has been postponed/cancelled.  Classes/workshops will be rescheduled to a later date. If the new dates don’t suit, a refund will be offered.
